CHICKEN LEG BANDS - MORE INFO
These bands are easy for you to remove and if you forget to remove them in time as they grow, no
growing into the leg like a hard plastic or metal bands. Save those until they are going to show. These
are stretchy elastic bands used by animal lovers, medical personnel, crafters, fishermen and more.
I also have chicks. I suggest the 3/16" or 1/4" for chicks, 5/16" for young poults and 3/8" or 1/2" for
    adult chickens.
The 1/2" comes in a variety of up to 12 colors.
    The 3/8" medium has a 12 color
MIX including black, red and yellow, 2 pinks, green, blue, purple and orange and clear.
    All the
other sizes contain 4 colors. The non latex are clear, the rainbow are colored.
    I also have a sample
pack available with 200 assorted bands of all sizes and colors.
The standard force by manufacturers is the amount of force that can be pulled/stretched on the
band at 3 times it's size. A 1/8" band will only stretch to 3/8" max or only 9.32mm! A heavy
band can be stretched at a stronger force. That's why heavy bands are better for stretching
around everyday bows and medium bands are better to sew onto the back of bows.
Some uses for these bands include:
Common use for the micro 1/8" bands are in the floral, doll and fishing industries, gaps in
    teeth
Tiny 3/16" bands are generally used in floral, doll, fishing, models, tooth gap, poultry
Small 1/4" bands are used in the pet industry, teeth gap, poultry
Medium 5/16" are a great all around band used in many crafts and hobby projects, farming
3/8" is usually used for dog topknots and bows, Chickens
1/2" is usually used for braiding horse or human hair, color coding animal breeds
Sample pack contains an assortment of all the different sizes, colors and styles of bands we offer.
*Please note that bags of 2500, 5000 and 10000 are sold by weight and generally will be close to or
over the amount of bands purchased, but can vary by as much as 100 bands either way.
NOW OFFERING bands up to 100,000 in quantity or more. Please allow
2 weeks for delivery of any amount
of bands over 5,000. I want to keep all bands as fresh as possible so I
your items last as long as possible.
Please see our other listings for non latex clear hypoallergenic elastics and rainbow neon elastics.
    1/2", 3/8XH are extra heavy
    3/8, 5/16, 1/4, 3/16 are medium weight
    1/8 is lightweight and smallest
I suggest 3/8 extra heavy for making bows or 1/4 for sewing onto bows
I also offer 1/4" lightweight for puppies or dogs with wispy hair
I'm happy to ship internationally. We've sold bands to 100's of countries. Check our store for more information.
Ebay is eliminating paypal as a payment choice. I was one of the first sellers forced to accept the new payment system. I can only accept credit card via ebay. If you need to use paypal, please checkout using the "local pickup" option and I will see that and send you an invoice directly through paypal.
Also please do not accept the "guaranteed delivery date" as  the day you will actually receive your items. Ebay and the USPS estimate that date and they are the ones that claim that is the date your items will arrive. Rarely does a package actually arrive on the estimated date of arrival. Please use the USPS website for tracking. It's not great, but better than Ebay's tracking system. And remember, I'm not the post office. I don't drive, fly or swim the item to your house. Once it leaves my house and tracking shows "acceptance" or "distribution center" when tracking,  I have no control over it. Please file a missing package search on your end as the item is going to your house.
The USPS is the one charging for shipping, not me. I only put down the weight and size of the package. USPS charges the fee and Ebay collects it. I am not responsible for the price charged. I don't charge excess charges, even internationally.
We appreciate your business and have a blessed day.
