    Description

    FROM MADEIRA WITH LOVE.....
    Estate find... Fine Portuguese Silver (825 Purity) polished wood lined.
    The box has survived in good used condition.  There are no distortions or gouges in the silver.
    Expect to find four dents, on edges, not distratcting, illustrated.
    The box measures 13.5 (5 1/4") across, 3cm (1") high, 11cm (4 1/4") deep.
    The box weighs approximately 211 grams, however, that would be incluisive of the wood lining,
    impossible to determine silver weight.
    There are some abrasions and rubs that one would always encounter on any used estate silver.
    The hinge is tight, no issue with closing, sits perfectly flat.
    I inserted a standard size playing card in one photo for size referrence.
