BEAUTIFUL AND REAL MORTALITY BED WITH 8 PROFESSIONALLY PREPARED FOSSIL
dated from the Lower Ordovician period (450 million years ago).
This is a unique fossil mortality bed from Upper Fezouata formation of Morocco
(Mecissi, a town North of the city of Zagora)
. The Arenig Fezouata Formation is composed of thin-bedded, pyrite-rich, fine sandstones and mudstones, uncovered in the Draa Valley, north of Zagora in southeastern Morocco.
The specimen color was not enhanced and very well preserved like every fossil coming from the same formation.
The size of the specimen is
