    enamels. Fine quality manufacture, 37 x 56 mm, two screwbacks.
    Worn,
    intact enamels, but
    small chipped on blue enamel. I
    n very good condition.
    1935-1944 Bulgarian pilot's badge. Gilt flying eagle affixed across top center of an age toned silver oak/linden leaves open wreath. Partial red enameled crown at top and lion shield at the base. Gilt sun with rays on a blue enameled background covers the center. Oval brass plate on reverse of badge is maker marked.
    This badge was often awarded to German pilots serving in the Balkans during WWII.
