SS UNITED STATES LINES Pair of Round 7 1/2" Dome Covers / Good Condition

This is a pair of 7 1/2" round silver dome covers from "The SS United States Liner". As for condition, both items appears to have never been used. Unlike most, there are no major dings anywhere to be found; just some scratches from stacking and handling. These heavy silver plate domes measures...7 1/2" across, and 3" in heigth. A crisp SSUS signature "Manhattan" pattern appears around the base & steam outlet. The manufacture's name is "The Gorham Silver Company", which is stamped on the inset. "United States Lines" is also stamped on the inset. These handsome silver plate covers are compatible with the 7 3/4" SSUS gray-star lunch plate.
