LISTED FOR AUCTION TODAY IS A WONDERFUL PAIR OF ASPARAGUS TONGS. THEY ARE CLEARLY MARKED "GERMANY", "800" AND ALSO HAVE A BEE SYMBOL. THEY WEIGH APPROXIMATELY 30.1 GRAMS AND MEASURE ABOUT 3 1/2" LONG X 1 5/8" WIDE. EACH ARM IS COVERED IN REPOUSSE PROFILE OF A GENTLEMAN IN A WREATH. THERE ARE ALSO FLEUR-DE-LIS, BEADING AND SWIRLS! IT HAS CERTAINLY BEEN USED, IS IN NICE CONDITION WITH A LOVELY SOFT PATINA WHICH I DID NOT ATTEMPT TO CLEAN OR REMOVE!
