After Joan of Arc's execution, Jehanne ( a French adventurer from the 15th century who was possibly a soldier in the Pope's army in Italy) came forward as one of Joan of Arc's maids as a ruse to gain fame and prosperity in wealth. It worked! She met many country leaders, gathered wealth and ended up marrying Knight Robert des Armoises and had two children with him retiring at the castle in Jaulny. (Citation-Wikipedia)
