Delicately hand crafted by the local artists of Kathmandu Nepal in
vintage style
, it features:
Oval platform protruded at the center, carved with Tibetan Kalachakra Syllable in golden color (brass), which also called "Ten Freedom of Wordly Cares", with small weaving designs around the bottom of the platform
Six round equal sized
protruded
platforms on two sides of the center big
Kalachakra Syllable (three on each side), each carved with one of the famous Tibetan 6-word holy mantra
"Om Mani Padme Hum"
in golden color
, with small weavings around the bottom, and dotted pattern in between
Multiple delicate small weaving designs at the top and the bottom
Main material: white copper & brass Om Mani Padme Hum
Huge size approx.: 6 1/2" from
end to end, and 34 mm (around 1 1/3") at the widest part. As always, this cuff bracelet can be gently bent on two sides to adjust
Om Mani, the first two letters of the mantra Om Mani Padme Hum invokes the spiritual power and blessings of Chenrezig, the Buddha of compassion. According to Tibetan religion, [Chenrezig] is the awakened nature of each being's own mind, the love and compassion primordially present in the dharmakaya [pure transcending awareness] ... Chenrezig is within us because love and compassion are not qualities added to the mind, but are inherent in our true nature. Tibetan Buddhists believe that saying this mantra out loud or silently to oneself, invokes the powerful benevolence and blessings of Chenrezig. Viewing a written copy of the mantra or wearing a bracelet is said to have the same effect.
