    Description

    This is a well-preserved floating crinoid,
    Saccocoma pectinata
    from the famous Lagerstatten of Solnhofen limestones, Germany. It dates to the Late Jurassic, about 145 million years ago.
    The fossil measures 1.35 inches in diameter, it is well preserved and has not been painted, repaired or restored. The entire plate measures 4.7 inches by 4.7 inches by 0.4 inches.
