Running on only 4 x AA batteries, our ASTx Door Opener has been designed with ease of use in mind.  Depending on frequency of use, will run for approximately a year before it needs new batteries.  Simply secure the Control Box to the front of your coop, set your Opening and Closing preferences and your away. We have even made the buttons extra big so that you can easily press them with gloves on in the winter!
Also included is a Door and Runner kit for the Chicken Guard automatic coop door opener.  Includes an Aluminium Door and American Oak runner kit.
A great solution for those that need an easy to assemble door and runner kit. Rather than use aluminium runners, we use American oak machined, plained and sanded all round to our specifications. Measuring 60 cm (24") in length, it is simply a matter of drilling your mounting holes to where you need them and attach to them to your coop.
Also included in the kit is an aluminium door measuring approximately 16" x 12" and weighs approximately 1 lb.
