    This is a pair of earrings made from PMC Fine Silver with sterling silver posts. The earrings are OOak since they are made of PMC. Like clay, they are made from a mold and have idiosyncracies that make each one unique and are hand finished. These are my own designs. I was inspired by women's history of the nature or botanical work as well as miniatures of the past. I like to embrace the intricate, delicate form of flowers and the ability to communicate profound symbolic meaning that has been throughout time and cultures. Literature is filled as well as art history references to nature and flowers.This is a chrysanthemum in Japanese, Kiku created by me.  It is a rendering that has taken a liberty because its based on visualization. I find these flowers to be of significant importance like the idea of a laurel in Europe. Although in Japan its symbolism more abstract is only for the imperial. Be it a gift for ones beloved or oneself.
