  • Condition: Overall very good used antique/vintage condition. The pincushion was very nicely made and is surrounded by a great colorful wool yarn edge and backed by navy blue cotton. The colors are still nice and have minor fading. The needlepoint front, yarn edge and backing is in very good condition. Please see photos as they tell the story. We leave all antique/vintage items as found.

    Description

    Antique PA Folk Art MENNONITE Amish NEEDLEWORK Wool Yarn Edge PIN CUSHION #2  - It is a really pretty square needlework pincushion surrounded by braided wool yarn and backed with a navy blue fabric.  The colors are really pretty and colorful - would be perfect in your pincushion display.  It is stuffed with what may be sawdust but could be some other filling- it is somewhat harder than wool or cotton stuffing.  Not sure how old it is -most likely from 1910s-1930s.
    It measures approximately 4.5" square including the trim.    It would make a nice Gift or would be great for your Sewing Collection or Pincushion Collection.
