Welcome,
This listing is for an antique half doll/pincushion doll.  She comes from my private collection.
PRISTINE condition - NO chips, cracks or repairs.
Comes from a private 3rd
generation
collection and has not been offered up for sale prior to this.
This half doll has been lovingly cared for and has been kept in a cabinet on display for most of her 90+ years of life.  (Circa 1920's)
She was manufactured in Germany.
She is incised with the mold number 8724.
A very beautiful and delicate Victorian style lady holding a fan.
She is very nicely done with great detail in the mold and the china painting was done by a skilled artist who took their time.  Please see her fan and more importantly her beautiful eyes and facial features.
She is 3 & 7/8 inches tall and is an "arm's away" style half doll.
She holds in both hands a fan that has been painted yellow with nicely detailed accents.  Even the back side of the fan was painted and on so many I see where they just left the back side blank and did not bother to even paint it.
