Antique German Half Doll, Pincushion Doll, Goebel, Collectible Doll

This listing is for an antique Germany unmarked Half Doll.
Stunning Victorian style half doll that I feel was manufactured by Goebel. It is unmarked however I am basing my assumption on the quality of the porcelain along with the wonderful hand painting of this piece.
It is in line with the quality of what Goebel was well known to produce.
Circa - 1909 to 1920   She is stunning for 100+  years old.
Often times half doll manufacturers for whatever reason chose to use paper labels instead of permanent marks to identify their provenance and /or manufacturer.
This lovely half doll is one that bears no incised numbers or marks.
There are many articles related to this subject in half doll reference books. One such article is found on page 417 in The Collector's Encyclopedia of Half Dolls.
This half doll is one of several half doll models which were inspired by portraits by the talented young woman, Marie Ann Elizabeth Vigee-Lebrun (1755-1842)
Marie Ann Elizabeth Vigee-Lebrun was Marie Antoinette's favorite court painter.
References to a very similar half doll that does not have the fan in her hand can be found on page 459 in The Collector's Encyclopedia of Half Dolls by Frieda Marion and Norma Werner
This beautiful half doll is a large half doll and she is 4&5/8 inches tall.
She is an arms away style half doll.
She holds in her left hand a folded fan and in her right hand she holds a stunning porcelain yellow rose with leaf.
I have found no chips, cracks or repairs to this lovely and very elegant half doll.
She is a well made, very heavy piece .  She features a typical Goebel base which is a closed base as shown in photos.
Her mold has exceptional detail and the hand made and applied porcelain roses and flowers are beautiful.
She wears an orange feather plume in her hat and has blue forget me nots and wild flowers on the brim that are hand made of porcelain.
This half doll comes from my private collection.
