Here we have a lower unit gear housing for a 1977-1998 8 HP Mariner outboard with the serial range:
677-383147 & Up -
(1980's),
it may fit other models
.  This gear housing is in good working condition. The casting is in good condition, the paint is a little crusty but there are no cracks, breaks or welds on this assembly. See pics.
