1952 S.S. UNITED STATES THE WORLDS FASTEST LINER WITH SEA TRIALS BOOKLET UNUSED POSTCARD ENVOLOPE STAMPED RARE! The 1952 Trials manual is in good condition its like 32 pages with great pictures the only thing there is a couple bent corners an the staples they are starting to rust an middle one page is loose an thats up too the collector for simple fix. It does have written lightly in pencil on the cover Thur. 2:30. This also has a post card sent from the ship with the envolope inside that a friend wrote his friend everything stat wise about the worlds fastest Liner. He was on maiden voyage an has ships envolope letter head an New York post mark when this guy was from Virginia. His name was George S.Mitchell to his friend Tom Scott in Charleston SC they both worked at the shipyard. The postcard has some light staining an is unused other wise ok. The letter in the envolope is on old radio letter head WTMA AND WTMA FM CHARLESTON S.C. It tell everything about the ship 2 theaters an on an on an is in good shape.The envolope is very acceptable an over all a great little collection. I saw one booklet only on here thats it an it was worse condition at 200.00 so this lot is in pretty good condition when looking at age an not many made it.
